Business Computer System Analyst

Research

  • Research third party applications and collaborate with developers and designers to devise, design and implement financial technology applications into client’s Wealth Management program Tableau
  • Research third party application and collaborate with developers and designer to create a system to optimize processing of financial data for client’s home office
  • Research technology solutions to integrate client’s asset allocation process and the deceased estate process for distribution of estate accounts


  • Collaboration

  • Collaborate with developers and designer to design and implement a new red flags system to block certain products/features/Services for deceased accounts
  • Work with clients’ staff and clients and collaborate with developers and designers to design data models, building dashboards & reports, building ETL processes, and implementing Data Quality & Monitoring Tools, Reporting/Analytics Tools and mapping those to optimal business solutions
  • Interview underwriters to analyze client’s analytics platforms, to suggest best options for data preparation services, and ultimately perform Predictive Analytics work to support client customers
  • Interview staff and clients to develop plan for production support of its BI / Analytics applications, root cause analysis of incidents, defect fixing, enhancements, and developing new applications


  • Analysis

  • Provide analysis to clients developers for their agile development efforts, solution architecting new data initiatives.
  • Conduct cost-benefit assessment of new applications development and design schemes to determine the business necessity and business impact
  • Present analysis to internal stakeholders on applications improvements’ impact on the overall organization, including fixed and variable costs, production efficiency, sales, client satisfaction, etc.

  • Software Test Engineer

    Required Technical Skills

  • 2+ years of relevant QA technical experience
  • Contribute as an individual during test design, test planning and test execution
  • Experience being part of an agile/scrum methodology team
  • Experience testing web based applications, using browser developer tools
  • Able to collaborate across different functions. Work closely with product management and development teams to understand requirements and technical specifications
  • Develop test plans, test cases and related test artifacts, familiar with the defect management process
  • Experience working with API's, using browser developer tools to validate API request and response data
  • Ability to write basic database queries
  • Strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excels at working in a fast-paced startup environments
  • Knowledge of Health Insurance Domain is a huge plus

  • Recommended

  • BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering. MS in Computer Science preferred

  • Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools a plus
